Herbert H. Kaplan is Professor Emeritus of History at Indiana University, a Ph.D. from Columbia University, a Guggenheim Fellow, and author of: Nathan Mayer Rothschild and the Creation of a Dynasty. Kaplan currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he continues his research and writing on eighteenth-century international relations, commerce, finance, banking, and Russian and Eastern European history.
The Kaplan Research Project was formally established in January of 2020 to provide expert academic knowledge to the learning community.
